1. The Service

MVV Klaar ("we", "us", "the service") is an online exam preparation tool for the Dutch Basisexamen Inburgering Buitenland (MVV exam). It is operated by the team behind MVV Klaar, based in the Netherlands.

MVV Klaar is not affiliated with DUO, IND, the Dutch government, or any official examination body. Our content is practice material only.

2. No Guarantee of Exam Success

We make no guarantee that using MVV Klaar will result in passing the official MVV exam. Exam content may change. Always check the official source at naarnederland.nl.

3. Account & Access

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your account access secure.
• One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
• We reserve the right to suspend accounts that abuse the service.

4. Free vs Paid Access

• A portion of practice questions is available free of charge.
• Full access requires a one-time payment of €9.99.
• Your paid access is for personal use only and is non-transferable.
• Access is permanent — no subscription, no recurring charges.

5. Data Retention & Account Expiry

• Free accounts: Your account and study progress are retained for 6 months of inactivity. If you do not log in for 6 months, your data may be deleted. You can always create a new free account.
• Paid accounts: Your account and study progress are retained for a minimum of 10 years from your last login — effectively permanent for exam preparation purposes. As long as you log in at least once every 10 years, your data and paid access are preserved.
• Your paid access to all questions is not time-limited. "Permanent access" on our website refers to the right to access content — not a guarantee of indefinite data storage without any activity.
• We reserve the right to change these retention periods with 30 days' notice by email.

6. Payments & Refunds

• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. The current price is €9.99 — a one-time payment with no subscription.
• Immediate digital access: Upon completing payment, you receive immediate access to all paid content. By confirming the consent checkbox at checkout, you explicitly request immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you waive your 14-day statutory cooling-off right under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m).
• No automatic refunds — all sales are final. Because access is granted immediately upon payment and a generous free tier is available before purchase, there are no automatic refunds. If you experience a technical issue or have a concern, email us at info@mvvexamen.nl and we will look into it. Any resolution is entirely at our sole discretion.
• Contact us before disputing. If you are unhappy with your purchase, email info@mvvexamen.nl before filing a chargeback. We respond within 24 hours. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us are a breach of these terms. We reserve the right to revoke access and submit all available evidence — including Stripe session records, consent timestamps, and content access logs — to Stripe and the relevant card issuer.
• Evidence logging. We log payment events, consent actions, session activity, and content access. This data may be used to contest fraudulent disputes with Stripe or legal authorities.
• Prices include applicable VAT where required by EU law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our question content.
• Attempt to bypass the freemium paywall by technical means.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Reverse engineer or decompile any part of the service.
• Share your paid login access with others.

8. Intellectual Property

The design, code, and original content of MVV Klaar are the intellectual property of MVV Klaar (mvvexamen.nl). The underlying exam questions are based on publicly available Dutch government exam material from naarnederland.nl and are used for educational purposes.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the content is always up to date with the latest official exam materials.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, MVV Klaar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
